De casa nova: UBS do Jd. Maria Helena é reinaugurada
A Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) Raquel Sandrini Ruela, do Jardim Maria Helena, está de casa nova. A Prefeitura de Barueri inaugurou o novo prédio, totalmente adaptado para alocar com mais conforto e funcionalidade o equipamento de saúde.
A solenidade de reinauguração contou com a presença de autoridades como o prefeito de Barueri, Rubens Furlan, a Deputada Federal Bruna Furlan, secretários municipais, vereadores e moradores da região.
Os novos serviços foram o ponto de destaque na fala do prefeito Furlan durante a entrega. “Esta UBS vai ser dotada de mais médicos, vamos ter alguns equipamentos para exames, dentistas, psicólogos, uma série de outros tipos de médicos para que a população não precise, por qualquer coisa, ir até o pronto-socorro. Nós estamos fazendo com que as UBSs sejam dotadas de médicos para atender a população nos bairros”, declarou.
Moradora do bairro há quase 40 anos, a aposentada Maria Ferreira dos Santos já estava estreando o novo equipamento. “Estou feliz por esse novo posto. Desse tamanho nós vamos ter mais tipos de especialidades, é um lugar que nos possibilita não ir para tão longe. A gente gostaria de ter um dentista e agora vai ter. Antes não tinha espaço porque o posto era pequenininho, não dava para expandir os serviços e agora tem várias salas”, comemora a munícipe.
Localizada na Av. Giovanni Atílio Tolaini, 37, e bem mais ampla, a nova unidade fica onde antes era a Biblioteca Municipal Oswaldo Eleutério. Os atendimentos da UBS em novo prédio tiveram início já na segunda-feira (dia 29 de abril), mas mesmo antes da obra ser finalizada não houve interrupção do serviço. Com a nova infraestrutura, a UBS contará com um clínico geral, um ginecologista e um pediatra a mais do que antes, além de iniciar atendimentos em odontologia e psicologia. A unidade funciona de segunda a sexta-feira das 7h às 16h30.
