A Secretaria de Governo de Jandira, destaca o trabalho que vem sendo realizado em cooperação com a Diretoria de Políticas para Mulher e Igualdade Racial, o programa de acolhimento “ Mão Amiga”. Neste mês de referência da mulher, foram divulgadas a importância da conscientização do trabalho de apoio que é disponibilizado às mulheres que vivem em situação de violência doméstica e familiar no município de Jandira.
A diretoria acolhe mulheres fragilizadas pela violência física, psicológica, sexual e moral. O objetivo principal é romper com a cultura de violência contra a mulher em todas as suas nuances, sendo a primeira Diretoria a ser dirigida por uma mulher negra em Jandira, a Diretoria de Políticas Públicas para Mulher e Igualdade Racial, tem como compromisso o trabalho na valorização e capacitação das mulheres que são vítimas de violência e sofrem preconceitos e descriminação racial.
A Diretoria funciona na rua José Rufino de Oliveira n. 221 – 2 andar- Vila Ipê. Pode ser contatada também pelos endereço de emails:mulher@jandira.sp.gov.
