Governo de SP vai entregar mais 21 milhões de doses da vacina do Butantan, 17% a mais do que o previsto para março
O Governador João Doria anunciou nesta segunda-feira (1º) o aumento da entrega das doses da vacina Coronavac. Serão 21 milhões de doses destinadas ao Ministério da Saúde ainda em março, número 17% maior do que o previsto para este mês. O Instituto Butantan dobrou a capacidade de produção da sua fábrica, que agora funciona 7 dias por semana, 24 horas por dia.
Até o final de abril o Governo de SP entregará 46 milhões de doses da vacina do Butantan ao Ministério da Saúde. Até 30 de agosto, outros 54 milhões de doses da vacina serão enviadas ao Governo Federal. As 100 milhões de doses eram esperadas até 30 de setembro, mas com a intensificação da produção, foi possível antecipar em 30 dias.
De cada 10 brasileiros vacinados, 9 são imunizados com a vacina do Butantan. O Instituto, que já entregou o que corresponde a 90% de todas as vacinas utilizadas na rede pública do país, vem criando uma força-tarefa para manter o ritmo de produção acelerado.
Desde o dia 27 de janeiro, idosos que possuem entre 80 e 84 anos de idade estão sendo vacinados, três dias antes da data inicialmente indicada. A partir do dia 3 de março, o Governo de SP começará a imunizar idosos de 79, 78 e 77 anos de idade.
A recomendação é que as pessoas realizem o pré-cadastro no site Vacina Já (www.vacinaja.sp.gov.br). O preenchimento dos dados economiza em 90% o tempo de atendimento para imunização, que passa a ocorrer de 1 a 3 minutos.
