Itapevi dá início nesta segunda (07) a Operação Natal Seguro
Equipes da GCM irão intensificar policiamento no Centro da cidade
Tradicionalmente com o objetivo de oferecer mais segurança e tranquilidade à população no período de compras do final do ano, a Prefeitura dá início, nesta segunda-feira (07), a Operação Natal Seguro, coordenada pela GCM (Guarda Civil Municipal) de Itapevi. Os trabalhos de policiamento preventivo e ostensivo vão até o dia 31 de dezembro.
A iniciativa tem como propósito coibir a prática de crimes na região central da cidade e garantir a segurança e conforto da população e dos comerciantes em meio às compras de final de ano. O policiamento será realizado com patrulhamento a pé, ROM (Ronda Ostensiva com Motocicletas), Divisão do Canil, ROMU (Ronda Ostensiva Municipal) e os demais viaturas da corporação.
O patrulhamento será reforçado de segunda a sábado, das 8h às 22h, principalmente nos pontos comerciais. No domingo, a operação vai até as 20h. Na semana do Natal, de 23 de dezembro e 27 de janeiro, o policiamento preventivo e ostensivo será realizado no mesmo horário, exceto no dia 23, quando o policiamento será feito até as 0h.
Os locais que irão receber atendimento da Guarda são: Terminal Rodoviário, Ita Shopping Centro, avenidas Presidente Vargas, Cesário de Abreu até a Rubens Caramez e vias adjacentes. As equipes do Demutran (Departamento Municipal de Trânsito) intensificarão a sinalização no centro expandido. Haverá uma base móvel montada na Praça Carlos de Castro.
O comando da Guarda estimativa que cerca de 30 homens estarão empregados por dia na Operação Natal Seguro.

Não podemos esquecer do novo coronavírus que infelizmente ainda está em circulação em nossa cidade. Desta forma, é importante que cada um siga, rigorosamente, os protocolos sanitários e usem máscara sempre, apliquem álcool em gel nas mãos, mantenha o distanciamento social de, pelo menos, 1,5 metro e evite ambientes com aglomeração.
Prevenir é o melhor remédio nessa época do ano, seja contra a Covid-19 ou assaltantes, não deixe bolsas e celulares no banco dos carros quando estes estiverem estacionados e evite andar com grande quantidade de dinheiro. As mulheres devem andar com suas bolsas sempre à frente do corpo para evitar furtos ou roubos.
A Prefeitura informa que caso você detecte qualquer atividade suspeita na região central, é possível entrar em contato com a GCM pelos telefones 199 (24 horas) e pelo 4141-0474, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 17h.
